Sam Hunt is planning to have two children of his own. At his performance on Friday night in Las Vegas, the singer of “Make You Miss Me” revealed to the audience that he and his wife, Hannah Lee Fowler, are expecting their second child together.
ET has been informed by an eyewitness who was present at Resorts World Theatre that the country music star announced to the audience that he is expecting his second child during the course of his performance. He went on to claim that Hannah and his daughter Lucy Lu, who was just 10 months old at the time, would be visiting him in Vegas for the weekend. Another performance by Hunt is set to take place at the same location on Saturday night.
The representative for Hunt has been contacted by ET and asked for comment.
This unexpected revelation comes only about a year and a few months after Hunt and Hannah became parents to a baby girl. This news was made while hosting a charity concert in Nashville, Tennessee. It happened only a few weeks after Hannah called off their divorce, which she had filed for back in February 2022 claiming “irreconcilable differences.” This revelation was made on stage while headlining the performance.
Since at least 2008, Hunt and Hannah’s relationship has been sporadic at best, and they’ve both experienced highs and lows throughout that time.
It was disclosed in the divorce filings that the couple was expecting their first child together. ET was able to get a hold of these records. At the time, Fowler also accused Hunt of engaging in “inappropriate marital conduct” and said that Hunt was “guilty of adultery.”
However, a few months later in May, the couple decided to give their marriage a second opportunity, with a source telling ET that Sam and Hannah are focusing on rebuilding their relationship. This occurred after the couple had been apart for a few months. They are looking forward to the arrival of their little child together and are both quite enthusiastic about it. Sam has been putting in the effort to ensure that Hannah trusts him, feels secure with him, and is comfortable in their relationship.
“He is acting protective over their relationship,” the insider mentioned at the time stated. “He is not letting them get too close.” “He has been cautious to ensure that things aren’t being misunderstood and that he isn’t placing any type of strain on their relationship in any way. He is aware of how delicate the situation is, and he does not want to cause Hannah any distress.
