When a seniors singing group decided to put on an impromptu performance in the middle of McDonald’s, the patrons couldn’t have been more in the right place at the right moment!
“Down by the Riverside” is the name of a spiritual that was composed in the United States by African-Americans. It was written many decades before the commencement of the Civil War in the United States. The songs that these guys perform, on the other hand, are about love.

Lyrics sung by the senior citizens’ singing group talk about meeting one’s gal along the riverside to talk, profess love, propose marriage, and eventually wed. They are lively, just on key, and a great delight to one’s ears to take in!

The bulk of the members of the singing group for older persons have gray or white hair, and just a few of them are tapping their toes.
The rest of their performance, including their singing, is subdued and unassuming, and there are no obvious hand gestures. Despite this, the quality of the job that they do is exceptional.

The music is energetic, and everyone has practiced their parts well, so it is not difficult to figure out who is singing the bass, the baritone, or the tenor; but, when all three voices are blended, the result is a delicious delicacy!

It would be absolutely lovely if every city and town in the country had an old singing club similar to this one, which often performed at the local fast food places.
