Witney Carson, who competes on Dancing with the Stars, is now celebrating ten years of marriage.
On New Year’s Day in 2016, the dancing professional, who is now 32 years old, tied the knot with her high school love, Carson McAllister, in Salt Lake City. In celebration of their tenth wedding anniversary, the couple shared touching Instagram tributes that were devoted to acknowledging their relationship.
“Celebrating a decade with you @carson.mcallister and ringing in the new year with our two beautiful boys 🥹🤍,” Carson started her post on Wednesday, December 31. She was referring to the couple’s kids, Kevin Leo, who will be 5 on January 3, and Jet, who is 2 years old.
“I truly don’t know how life could get better than this, but I’m excited to see what’s next for our little family,” the winner of the 34th season of Dancing With the Stars stated. Cheers to the year 2026! Have a wonderful time!
Carson and McAllister were seen dancing together in front of a shimmering body of water as the sun was setting in the Instagram Reel, which was performed to the music “Weathervane” by Hunter Metts. Following that, their children joined them, and the whole family then embraced one another in a large group before taking in the ombré sky together.
McAllister said that his love for his wife “keeps growing” over the years in a post that he himself authored and that included photographs of the family of four dressed in black costumes that matched each other.
“10 years and my love for you keeps growing @witneycarson,” he wrote in his journal. The beginning of the trip of a lifetime began when I married you. You have been by my side through everything that has transpired, and each and every one of those moments has made me smile, laugh, and become a better person. The year 2025 will be one that people will never forget.
“I can’t wait for all our adventures in 2026 and I need you by my side through all of it!” he said in addition. “I love you Witney Carson!”
Carson raved to PEOPLE in 2016 about her wedding, saying that her lace long-sleeved wedding dress, which was handcrafted by Rivini designer Rita Vinieris, was so “beautiful” and “perfect” that she “didn’t want to take it off.” Carson’s wedding dress was a lace gown with long sleeves.
For her bridesmaids, Carson selected Amsale gowns in a taupe hue that complemented the “winter wonderland” atmosphere of her New Year’s Day ceremony. Her bridesmaids were fellow professional dancers Emma Slater, Lindsay Arnold, Brittany Cherry, and Jenna Johnson. Carson’s wedding took place on New Year’s Day.
Carson remarked that while all of the costumes were the same color, they were all extremely distinct from one another. It meant a great deal to me that they were present. I wanted for the outfits to be a reflection of their individual personalities.
